Setup / Starting Position
- Position the safety bar on the squat rack at chest height.
- Step underneath the bar and place it across the front of your shoulders, resting on the pads.
- Grasp the handles and lift the bar off the rack.
Exercise Position
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your toes slightly turned out.
- Engage your core muscles and keep your chest lifted.
Form & Performance
- Slowly lower your body into a squat position, keeping your knees in line with your toes.
- Lower until your thighs are parallel to the floor, then push through your heels to return to the starting position.
