Setup / Starting Position
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes pointing forward.
- Hold a barbell with an overhand grip (palms facing up), hands positioned slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, and arms fully extended overhead.
Exercise Position
- Lower the barbell behind your head by bending your elbows, allowing them to flex and stretch your triceps.
- Keep your upper arms close to your head and elbows pointed forward throughout the movement.
Form & Performance
- Extend your elbows to lift the barbell back up to the starting position, straightening your arms fully and squeezing your triceps at the top of the movement.
- Avoid locking out your elbows completely at the top to maintain tension on the triceps.
