Setup / Starting Position
- Sit on a bench with your feet flat on the floor and your knees bent at a 90-degree angle.
- Place a barbell across your upper thighs, just above your knees.
Exercise Position
- Push through the balls of your feet to raise your heels as high as possible.
- Pause at the top of the movement, then lower your heels back down towards the floor.
Form & Performance
- Focus on squeezing your calf muscles at the top of the movement.
- Avoid locking out your knees or bouncing at the bottom of the movement.
