Setup / Starting Position
  • Position a barbell on the ground and place a resistance band around your thighs, just above your knees.
  • Begin in a kneeling position with your shins on the ground, hips directly over your knees, and hands grasping the barbell for stability.
Exercise Position
  • Engage your core and glutes, then push through your heels to lift your hips towards the ceiling until your body forms a straight line from shoulders to knees.
  • Squeeze your glutes at the top of the movement.
Form & Performance
  • Inhale and lower your hips back down towards the ground, maintaining tension in your glutes and hamstrings.
  • Exhale and lift your hips back up to the starting position, squeezing your glutes at the top.
